                    Motivation term derived from the word motive which means need, desires, wants or drives within the individuals. Motivation is rhe process of stimulating people to accomplish the aspiration. To stimulate the people’s behaviour like,

  • Success
  • Desire for money
  • Job satisfaction
  • Recognition
  • Team work
  • Work efficiently etc.

              Motivation is a social, biological or psychological state that drives a person to words a specific action. The strong desire to do something, to achieve goal, or to act. Motivation as psychology is that to do things. It comes from our goals and needs.
Ex: Everyone is engaged in various action, a student studies books he wants to get high marks in his exams.
             The most important factor to manage employees is to promote willingness to perform in the best of their abilities. Thus the role of a leader is to arouse interest in performance of employees at their positions.
            A purposeful motivation is also offered to fuel an individual to initiate an sustain certain behaviour, for example; bounces, awards, appreciation certificates, prizes, promotion, incentive. These are purposeful motivation mostly extended at an organization to improve the efficiency and productivity of its employees.

          Motivation is an internal process, it is a condition inside us that desires a change, either in environment or the self. The interesting about motivation is that if anyone wants us to be motivated to act or achieve goal. They can not force us – appeal to us. Motivation is not that your boss assigned you a task and you do it, but your own desire is included in that you have self motivation. 
                   The truth is that the goals that you want to fulfill in the workplace and in your career may be of little interest to others working with you. They simply may not have the same motivations as you do.
Motivation is not only important for teamwork, it is critically important for your own success as a manager. Why some managers are succed other failed, because the successful manager motivate their team. Your best leader sharp your abilities. He design a such framework around you that meets your goals also.
                 Motivation is also virtuous ability of the great leader to promote and manage a work. When the leader has knowledge about employee’s strong point and how to bring them up or your internal motivator then he will create a high performing team who takes ownership of their work duties.
